Oh no, how dare they?!! I think you should build on the graffiti and decorate it further with paintings of flowers and vine tendrils; just enough to make the vandal’s own signature illegible. Is there an art college nearby? Maybe you could volunteer your shed as a summer art project for a student.

I love that idea, some pink and yellow daisies should do the trick.
If only I were talented enough to convert the scrawl into a floral design.

What a shame. The suggestion about building on it with garden related painting is a good one. Turn a senseless act of vandalism into something that adds to the surroundings…art.

    Frustrating! I would repaint.

After finding out what it ment if anything, I would add to it and embelish. Still, that stinks.

repaint, otherwise it’ll tell peeps that this place is “safe” to tag again.

i used to do graf, i’ve always hated dubbing (which is what this is). nothing artistic about it.

I’m with the embellish with colourful flowers and veg crowd. I hope the vandals didn’t get any of your veg though?

Make it your own work of art and DON’T let the buggers grind you down!

If you repaint my guess is that it will get “decorated” again, the suggestions to embellish it sound great but how will the other allotmenteers feel? I like Amanda’s suggestion - pity you cannot find the “artist” and get him to come back and finish the job properly. Was it only your shed which got the grafitti treatment or others too? Don’t be too sad, at least they did not damage your plants or steal half the greenhouse (which happened to a lady in our village).

What a little bastard. No point painting it: fear he’ll take it as a challenge and try again. There IS a paint that make it impossible for spray-can paint to stick…

    String ‘em up I say.
The local scum used to paint my fence with odd tags but I did find that the quicker it is gone the better. It does seem to discourage them.

I would repaint and then sit out with a pellet gun. They will be back if they see you fixed it. Or get a motion camera from the hunting section at wal mart and set that up somewhere.

But before you repaint it, try to find out the perpetrator that did this first thing first. It’s a vilified act that deserves justified punishment.
